Sixty Second Parent celebrates 1st anniversary and book launch
Sixty Second Parent celebrated its first year in business with the official launch of their second book in the Triumphant Child series ‘Caring for your Newborn: How to enjoy the first 60 days as a new mom’ at the Innovation Centre on Tuesday 22 September. The authors of the new book, Dr Olson Huff internationally recognised paediatrician who flew in from North Carolina together with his daughter-in-law child development specialist Nicole Rawson-Huff, joined the celebration to share practical tips and tricks for raising newborns and sign books for local parents.
Colin Graham, CEO Innovation Centre, and Professor Paul Thomas AM, Vice-Chancellor and President at the University of the Sunshine Coast, were proud to recognise the achievements of Sixty Second Parent.
“Founder and serial entrepreneur Steve Huff was one of the first to move to the Innovation Centre with his previous business Typefi and it is a great pleasure to see him grow Sixty Second Parent into another dynamic business that also provides outstanding work experience opportunities to USC students” Prof. Thomas said.
The company has strong ties with the University and currently has 5 PR student interns working within the business who were instrumental in organising and promoting this fun event.
