| Tim Eldridge is an independent strategic marketing consultant and brand builder. Over two decades he has helped many world-famous companies build their brands and businesses; his client roster has included IBM, Hewlett Packard, Procter and Gamble (Vidal Sassoon, Head & Shoulders, Oil of Ulay, Pampers, Ariel, Tide, Sunny Delight), Borden Foods (Klim), Mitsubishi Motors, Groupe Danone (Amoy), Delta Air Lines, Schweppes, Haymarket Publishing (What Car?, Autocar, Camera Weekly) and Hays Business Services. Few people know more about global brand and business development; while rising through the ranks of leading advertising agencies Saatchi & Saatchi (1987-2000) and Ogilvy & Mather (2001-2009), Tim has lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East & North Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania and North America. In Hong Kong (1990-1996) Tim helped global brands enter and grow in the burgeoning Greater China market and build brands across Asia-Pacific. From London he has coordinated pan-Europe & Middle East operations and brand development, and from the USA he has defined global branding strategies and led the development of multi-national campaigns. Immediately prior to heading down under from New York, in the role of Senior Partner, Executive Marketing Director IBM Brand Services, Tim held global responsibility for Ogilvy & Mather’s pioneering work with three divisions of the company’s flagship account, IBM. Collectively these divisions - Global Business Services, Global Technology Services and Global Sales & Distribution - drove over half of IBM’s $100bn+ global revenue. Ogilvy’s 3600 Brand Stewardship model required Tim to deliver to IBM the best of Ogilvy’s renowned breadth & depth of services, from strategic analysis and planning through campaign design and execution in traditional and digital communication channels. Tim holds a Degree in Business Studies, for which he majored in Marketing, and a Diploma in Marketing from the UK’s Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and last year, in the UK, Tim was elected FCIM - Fellowship Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Since arriving on the Sunshine Coast in 2009, with his Australian wife and two children, Tim’s consulting business, Eldridge Marketing Pty Ltd, has focussed on bringing powerful marketing insights and approaches to start-up, small, mid-size business leaders and public-sector (regional government and tourism) clients in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. |
