We were pleased to host a visit yesterday by The Hon. Andrew Fraser MP who is the State Treasurer and Minister for State Development and Trade.

The Treasurer announced a total of $250k funding for the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast (ICSC) over the next two years and was very positive about the role the ICSC plays in supporting the start-up and growth of knowledge based businesses here on the Sunshine Coast. In tough economic times, this investment is a very much a vote of confidence in the ICSC and will help us to achieve a sustainable financial position going forward.

• Supported the start-up and growth of over 78 businesses
• Creating over 300 jobs for the Sunshine Coast region
• Helped raise over $23.8M in investment
