eLearning Australia partnership with USC
18-May-2011Online learning company, eLearning Australia, are teaming up with the University of the Sunshine Coast to create and develop a leading resource in online training materials.
eLearning Australia will have a number of computer-based design students assist them in producing a software program that will have language, literacy and numeracy skills integrated into a construction industry context.
Graham Rodgers, the company director of eLearning Australia, said he intends to encourage creative input from the skilled students assisting him on the project, and allow them to stretch the boundaries of what can be done.
The project became even more exciting after the valuable input from Uwe Terton, a lecturer in computer based design, who recognised the great opportunity for his students. “The project is an educational one and I believe that the future of educational computer based applications is rosy,” Uwe said, “Being part of such a project will give my students a head start when they dive into their professional life."
