EVA Robotics takes steps in the right direction

18-May-2011

As a technology start-up, EVA Robotics faced a daunting learning curve when it came to commercialising their product.

Managing Director Matt Alder said the benefits of becoming an associate client of the Innovation Centre began with the award of a COMET grant from AusIndustry to help take their product to market.

EVA Robotics provides accessible information and expertise in advanced Mechatronics, automation and product development.

Innovation Centre Business Incubator Manager said Nigel Hall EVA Robotics has developed an innovative servo drive technology which enables medical device manufacturers, robotics developers and product designers to shortcut their development path and improve both accuracy and efficiency in their products.

Nigel added “due to this EVA Robotics has great potential for growth demonstrated by its early order book from clients across the world.”

“Through our workshops with Business Incubator Manager Nigel Hall we have established world-class business planning and financial modelling,” Matt said.

“This has guided our marketing and sales efforts to establish significant pipeline revenue for several years to come. With further financing, we are now in a position to accelerate our growth in the US market and beyond,” Matt said.

The Innovation Centre offers associate membership packages for those businesses not yet ready for office space, based elsewhere on the Sunshine Coast or past tenants who want to stay in touch.
