IC assists Massey Online manage growth
18-May-2011Since moving to the Innovation Centre in September 2010 Massey Online Management has gone from strength to strength.
Starting as a home-based business Massey Online Management now helps 21 holiday parks manage and monitor their online presence from bookings to websites and Trip Advisor listings.
Kath Massey, Managing Director, Massey Online Management said through the guidance of IC Business Incubator Manager Nigel Hall she now has a clear business plan with goals and actions to allow her business to grow and prosper.
“In the six months of support from the Innovation Centre, our client base has increased by 133% and we’ve employed two part-time staff,” Kath said.
An additional benefit of locating to the Innovation Centre was the opportunity to network and share knowledge with other technology based businesses and the University community Kath added.
“I have presented at two workshops by invitation of the USC Business Faculty which has helped raise the profile of Massey Online Management and further develop my presentation skills”, Kath said.
“Making the leap to take my business from home to the Innovation Centre was made with trepidation – but has already proven to be the best business decision I have made to date”
