Maximising opportunities for students
18-May-2011Fostering connections with the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) has long since been a key focus of the Innovation Centre, which is why Chloe Ryan has joined the team as the Recruitment and Talent Manager (previously known as Student Ambassador).
Chloe’s role, which due to its success has been expanded from a part time to a full-time position, is to maximise the learning outcomes for USC students presented by the Innovation Centre businesses, as well as create opportunities for the Centre’s client companies’ involvement in the University.
Chloe, a USC graduate herself, is excited to be in the role, knowing she will be able help students get an advantage when it comes to navigating the highly competitive nature of the Sunshine Coast job market, as well as supporting them in preparing them for today’s business needs.
“I’m passionate about helping students see the value in the Innovation Centre,” Chloe said,
“It is a great chance for students to take what skills and theories they have learnt in the classroom and apply to a real life situation, giving a significant enhancement of graduate attributes.”
