We are concerned that the Sunshine Coast has too few opportunities for rewarding, high quality careers in 3rd millennium knowledge-based industries.

Too few relative to the 60,000 bright young adults who will graduate our University over the next two decades.

Too few also relative to a 250,000+ labour force, which may be its size by 2030 when our region’s population will likely have swollen to 500,000 residents.

Entrepreneurs and business owners who, like us, see the need for the Sunshine Coast’s economy to diversify beyond its traditional reliance on tourism, agriculture, retail and construction; to those who want to get involved in accelerating the advance of knowledge-based industries; to those who want to expand the pool of rewarding, high-quality knowledge-based career opportunities available locally – for ourselves, for young adults, for future generations.
